Out and about with my friend Jocelyn, who you may remember from my "Talkin' Shit" post from 2014. Today we were taking photos at Lake Ramsey trying to capture the colours of Fall on a lovely crisp day in Northern Ontario. A nice contrast to my Boardwalk photo post at Ramsey Lake from 2016 which took place in the summer. Enjoy!

Have you ever had someone from your high school days reach out to compliment you on your blog and in an attempt to compress 30 something years of history into one email you projectile vomited an abundance of information which unintentionally sounded like, "My life turned out so much more interesting than your life," and upon recognizing your hubris you tried to re-balance the energy with some verbal jazz hands by topping it all off with - "Life is a participatory dance."?

Well, Gowan has struck gold again! Yes, Lawrence Gowan, Canadian hitmaker from the 80's and 90's, of A Criminal Mind, and You're A Strange Animal fame, has made a huge musical resurgence, at least with one member of my family when he sang, via video, Happy Birthday to my eldest daughter Maeve.
